What is HCS?

Texas Home and Community-Based Services (HCS) is a comprehensive program designed to provide supportive care to individuals who require assistance to live independently within their homes and communities. This program offers a wide range of services, including personal care, respite care, meal preparation, transportation, and support for individuals with disabilities or special needs. The key philosophy behind Texas HCBS is to prioritize a person-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of individual preferences and needs while promoting community integration and inclusion. By delivering these services, Texas HCS aims to enhance the quality of life for its beneficiaries, allowing them to remain in their familiar environments and maintain their autonomy, while receiving the necessary support to thrive and participate in their communities.

We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families throughout the Lone Star State.
